Our Little One ("we", "our", or "the App") is a pregnancy companion app designed for expecting couples. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with care. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the App:
- Email Address — Used for account authentication and account recovery. Collected when you sign up.
- User ID — A unique identifier generated for your account, used to associate your data with your profile and enable partner pairing.
- Pregnancy & Health-Related Data — Information you voluntarily provide, including due date, pregnancy week, mood records, prenatal checkup notes, and wellness entries. This data is used solely to deliver personalized pregnancy content and enable partner sharing features.
- Push Notification Token — A device token used to deliver push notifications such as partner alerts and pregnancy updates.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core App features: pregnancy tracking, partner pairing, mood sharing, knowledge content, and shared checklists.
- Deliver push notifications about partner activity, pregnancy milestones, and important updates.
- Authenticate your account and maintain session security.
- Improve the App experience based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
3. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
- We do not share your data with third-party advertisers.
- We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not display ads in the App.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
- Supabase — Cloud database and authentication. Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies that ensure you can only access your own data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Supabase Privacy Policy
- OneSignal — Push notification delivery. OneSignal receives your device push token to deliver notifications. We do not share any health or personal data with OneSignal beyond what is necessary for notification delivery. OneSignal Privacy Policy
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign-In — Optional authentication providers. We receive only the information you authorize during sign-in (typically email and name).
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
- Data at rest is encrypted on our database provider's infrastructure.
- Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure that each user can only access their own data.
- Authentication tokens are securely stored on your device using the system keychain.
While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored in the App.
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
- Export your data upon request.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account.

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
9. Medical Disclaimer
The App provides general pregnancy information for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. Never disregard professional medical advice because of information provided in the App.
10. Law Enforcement Requests
We will only disclose user data to law enforcement when required by valid legal process (such as a court order or subpoena). We will notify affected users of such requests unless legally prohibited from doing so.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
